First Time Trying The Ordinary

The Ordinary skincare deciem hialuronic acid niacinamide

The sun through my window makes me happy. I’m a seasons girl, if it’s summer, then it must be sunny, if it’s winter, it must be cold. As for today, it’s been weeks since I first smelled summer in the air and I can live happily for now until temperature is so high it makes difficult to just breathe..

But give me a pool (see: beach when on holidays) and lots of sunscreen and I’m good to go. You can also add to that a bag of salt and vinegar chips and then yes, I’m ready.

I’ve been really into skincare lately (more than usual) learning about AHA, acids, vitamin C and so more. There’s so much information I just want to know about it all. I remember there was some beef around The Ordinary some time ago, but honestly, it seem the right choice for me to get started with “pure” formulas as they are easy to use and find.

I went for the most simple choices, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid + B5 and The Ordinary Niacinamide %10 + Zinc %1. One for extra moisture lock down, and the latter for oil control and redness. I have been using them for almost five months now and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to step up their skincare game or simply trying to get the most out of their skin but on a budget. And can you safely use these during summer? Yes, you can. You do not have to take extra care besides your usual SPF, and that’s why I love them both.
