I´ve been nursing my love for skincare through years, trying as much skincare as I could. And sometimes it happens, you find a brand that, statistically, can´t do anything wrong. Rituals is one of those brands, I just love more and more every time I try something from them. Their whole Shakura line is my favourite, and I hoped their skincare wouldn´t be different..

I´m an exfoliator advocate, I love scrubbing my face. I do it once or twice a week, depending on what my skin needs. Recently I´ve been using the Rituals Brightening Exfoliator, which I´ve been enjoying so much. The packaging is lovely, a soft tube that has a matte finish. The product itself, white, almost like a cream but with little particles that are supposed to get rid of clogged pores and dullness. I battle on and off with dry patches here and there, and this has help my overall complexion to look, let’s say, more put together. It is gentle on my sensitive, it simply feels right using it.

I´m a fan of any product that gives me instant results, and this is one of them. I can see my skin brighter, and I can feel it smoother. One thing I noticed, though, is that sometimes it can be a bit to harsh on me, the scrub is so so so fine it kind of scratches my skin. If this happens, just try using less product and be sure your face is wet.
