2018 Beauty Favorites

beauty favorites

I was thinking if this post had actually sense, since it´s already February (like how is that even possible??). But then someone told me my blog looked lovely and it was the ego induced push I needed to start writing again. Yes, this is a beauty favourites 2018 round up, two months later, but with all the good stuff…

I had mayor trouble when writing this post because I was literally thinking: what on earth have I been using non stop for the past 12 months? Luckily I keep a precious carlotarules diary where I jot down every single thing, from inspiration to favourites (sometimes also grocery lists, yolo). I did a quick scroll on my archives too only to realize I have been talking –or writing, better said- about the Yves Rocher Camomille micellar oil. Can´t lie to you, I´m going through my 3rd bottle now and onto my 4th one in a few months. I love that product. If I could only borrow one thing to a dessert island… well that might be a little pretentious, but you know how I feel. There´s many skincare products in this list, because I love skincare stuff. And these two masks, The Body Shop  Matcha Clearing mask  and Origins Drink Me Up mask always, always, have my back. Honestly, every time I use my TBS mask I get compliments on my skin. The last one was that my skin looked like porcelain lately. I cried. I go back and forth with the Origins mask, partly because I don´t want it to end and partly because I´m kind of addicted to coconut oil. However, this mask is always a good choice, no matter what. On daily basis I´ve been reaching out for these two: the Dr. Jart Ceramide Serum and the Filorga universal purpose cream. These both are the bomb and have not use practically anything else on my routine. Skincare aside, a rare one: Essie Wicked has been on my hands all the time. What did you love last year?
