The warmth on the air that makes it difficult to breathe, freckles covering my face and air-dried hair. A rather light tan covering my skin head to toe, ice cream stains on my white linen blouses and the certainty that summer is set and ready to go..
Nothing can beat this feeling, only the fact my summer holiday extravaganza is about to start. Yes, I´m still working at the office, but never mind, I´m at least happy to be around an aircon six hours a day. Did you notice I said light tan at the beginning? Well, that´s and accurate description of myself right now, and it makes me happy. You know me, foundation does not work for me on sweaty tube rides but since I´m working, it´s not that bad after I arrive in the office. Any other time you will find me barefaced, Makeup Revolution bronzer, H&M blush, mascara on and ready to go. At nights, I´ve been enjoying adorning my freckly face with my fave H&M shimmer gold shadows and painting my lips with Bourjois´ red matte for the extra diva vibes. That´s my menu, served with a huge side dish load of vacation mode and sunshine.
El aire tan caliente que cuesta respirar, las pecas que cubren mi cara y el pelo secado al aire. Un ligero moreno de pies a cabeza, manchas de helado en mi camisa de lino y la certeza de que el verano esta en marcha. Nada puede mejorar mi felicidad ahora mismo, solo el inminente comienzo de mis vacaciones (estratégicamente planificadas en los fines de semana de julio y agosto). ¿Os habéis dado cuenta de que he mencionado mi ligero bronceado? Es así, es ligero, pero ahí está. Sabéis que la base de maquillaje y el metro lleno hasta arriba no son compatibles, pero como yo sigo trabajando, no es tan malo considerando que enciendo el aire nada más poner pie en la oficina. Cualquier otro día me encontraréis sin maquillaje, con un poco de bronceador de Makeup Revolution, colorete de H&M, mascara de pestañas y lista para todo. Por las noches, me está gustando mucho maquillarme los ojos con sombras doradas de H&M que resaltan mis pequitas, y usar un pintalabios rojo mate de Bourjois como último recurso para acentuar mi piel morena. Mi menú está servido, acompañado de mucho sol y modo desconexión.
