2017 Beauty Favourites

best of beauty 2017

Some things don´t change, and this post is proof of it. New year, new me, huh? I don´t know. Because as much as I tried so many new things this year, I seem to always go back to the old favourites everytime..

My love for Rituals got stronger on 2017, no surprise why there are two Rituals products featuring on my year favourites. Coming clean, I don´t think I´ve ever tried a better shower gel than the Rituals Of Shakura one, nothing compares. And because I love that line so much, I tried the Rituals Sensational Soft Cleanser, and my life was never the same. Best makeup remover/cleanser/soul repairing stuff never made. I´ve had a bit of a something for red lips this past year and basically lived in my H&M Red Lip Cream. I was never a red lip gal until I found mine, and this is something so important, I want to give you all red lip skeptics hope, you can find your shade and your world will spin around in a better way.

Remember when the last time I used a brush to apply foundation? Me neither. The H&M beauty blender has been my go to for makeup application and I don´t see myself coming back to brushes anytime soon. Which speaking of perfect makeup, the Catrice Primer has probably been the best discovery of them all. I had never use a primer before, so anything that blurs my pores and leaves my skin looking smooth is a winner. I went through a little bit of a dark phase during the last few months of the year, and the Essence black polish was my way of letting it out. I am a lover of dark nails (except maybe browns, I don´t like brown nails, nah nah) and felt empowered everytime. Last, but not least, 2017 has been the year of sheet masks, and probably 2018 will be too.
