Disappointment: (n) A feeling of dissatisfaction that results when your expectations are not realized. (n) An act (or failure to act) that disappoints someone. And that could literally be the result of this post..
But bloggers do it better and like to adorn a beauty reviews with words and metaphors we don´t even understand, when the fact of the matter is, we don´t love everything we try –we are normal people after all. Same happened with the GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment, far from what I expected it didn´t woah me the way I thought it would.
Excessively pricey, this hydrating mask that will provide an extreme moisture according to the brand and will even the skin texture. Easy to apply, I like to go heavy on it and slap a hefty amount of product in my face let it sink in and go to sleep without rinsing it off. It smells insanely good, like hundreds of sweet almonds splashed on your face –love. But results tell everything, right? And after trying this I did find my skin softer and hydrated, but nothing else, and nothing more. Didn´t feel my skin any different from when I use other hydrating masks I pile up.
Fast and harmless, the aftermath: just like when you have a bite of that chocolate chips cookie but then you realize those are not choco chips but raisins, my thoughts were exactly the same when I tried the mask. Felt a little bit fooled but I will recover from this, don´t worry –potentially with an actual chocolate cookie YAS.
