I’ve thought so many times about writing this review I can’t believe it’s actually happening. You probably won’t remember, but this mask was part of my shopping spree during my time in Belfast, so I have been able to test it, love it, and hate it. I’m a person full of emotions, okay? 

I think I’m going to start off by saying that the Una Brennan Anti Blemish Mask is definitely not for me. Nor for anyone who has sensitive skin. I’ve tried it so many times -I don’t even know why- and it has not worked for me any of them. The first time I used it I didn’t feel anything wrong, but after that my skin has sort of develop a defence thing against that mask that just simply refuses to accept it, and every time I use it my skin starts to itch and I have to take it off after just applying it. However, this only lasts as far as I got it on my face. After a quick rinse my skin doesn´t feel irritated but a bit numb -which is weird if you ask me- and ironically enough it feels kind of soft.

I guess my skin is too sensitive for a salicylic acid mask, because I know for sure it can handle any other pore cleansing ones. The package is comfortable and hygienic, it’s very easy to apply it -I use a real techniques foundation brush to do it- and all in all it looks rather fancy on my bathroom shelf.

But I would not recommend it to anyone whose skin is delicate, as it may irritate your skin. So now I think I will need another deep cleansing masks to replace this one.. Any suggestions?
