After I read this post on Amelia’s blog I was very intrigued to try the Dove Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray. I have fine hair, so I’m always looking for something that adds a bit of volume and texture to my hair. A little trip to boots was made that day, and here is the result of it..
I have been using it for a few weeks now but it doesn’t seem to have impressed me so far. I was indeed a bit taken aback at first because I still haven’t tried a wet voluminizing system that actually works –this was no different. It says you can apply it to damp or dry hair, and I’ve tried both ways. When sprayed on damp hair it leaves mine so soft and loose. I don’t see much of a different on the volume issue, which is what it is meant for. What I do like about it though is that it is really moisturizing and in case you are looking for a leave in conditioner, then this one is the one. When applied to dry hair, I really don’t feel any difference at all.
I love the spray, I love the scent (that lasts days on my hair) and I love the price, but still I would not recommend this if you are looking for something to give volume to your locks. So here I am again, pen in hand ready to hear some voluminizing suggestions from you..

Too bad it didn’t work out, I need moisture and volume, too.
