Nothing new here. Just me, Boots and some serious damage in my wallet. A few weeks ago I talked about how my skin was in much need of a detox, and how I was on the hunt of a new facemask to unclog my pores. Well, I finally ended up picking Una Brennan’s Pore Purifying Clay Mask and I’m rather happy with my choice..
This mask certainly does what it says. After just one use I felt my skin softer, brighter and my pores were almost invisible. It’s a clay mask so the way to use it is as simple as slapping a thin coat of it onto the skin and let it sit until it dries. Then remove with warm water and you are ready to go. It doesn’t have any funky smell and although it contains salicylic acid it didn’t mess up my sensitive skin. Also, I can’t tell you much about using this to clear up break outs as my skin usually behaves and doesn’t suffer from them. Still, it cannot be compared to my favourite clay mask ever (this one by Lovea) but it does the job while I wait until I arrive home.
Another thing I picked up was the Botanics All Bright Micellar Water, which I have been using since I ran out of my Garnier Micellar water and I still don’t know if I like it or not. Yes, it cleans and hydrates my skin, however I still think the Garnier one is better in every sense.
I know what you are thinking, and yes, you are right. These weren’t the only things I picked up but I have an excuse for it as I wasn’t alone. My sister Paula was my partner in crime this time and she as well didn’t go home empty handed. I guess you will have to wait just a little bit to see what she got..
