5 things: The “no make up” make up

blog5

When it comes to everyday make up, I try to keep it as simple as possible. A little bit of concealer, some mascara, a pinch of blush… In winter I usually wear heavier make up but as the days get warmer (which is taking forever) I like my make up to be as light and subtle as possible.

Lately I’ve been loving the Maybelline fit me concealer in shade 15 and the Origins GinZing refreshing eye cream. The first one is a light concealer that doesn’t crease at all and stays there no matter what. The second one is a really refreshing eye cream, which a hint of colour and a really brightening. I usually dab this under my eyes first and then finish with the concealer. This combo covers perfectly my dark circles, which have been horrible this months due to uni…Anyone else can relate?

For blush, I’ve been reaching for the blush by 3 by Sleek. I bought The Lace Palette, which consists of 3 blushers, 2 matte and a shimmer one. The one I’ve been using is Guipure, a rose gold which doubles as a light highlighter too. Also if you are looking for the Nars Orgasm dupe, this is it..

I usually skip bronzer, but because I’m paler than milk and I want to look more like a person, the Catrice Sun Glow matt bronzing powder has been a life saviour. It’s hard to find a perfect match for light skins that doesn’t make you look like you powdered your face with a bag of cheetos but this makes your skin look great and healthy and it is a bargain..

Last, but not least, the eyes. A few months ago I was obsessed with eyeliner but then I rediscovered the Sephora Jumbo liner in taupe and I just can’t get enough of it! This eyeshadow is so beautiful and subtle I wear it everyday. You can build up the colour and it’s waterproof so it won’t budge. For mascara, the Clinique high impact mascara is just perfect for lazy days.
