When I do my makeup something magical happens to my lips: they disappear. I don’t know why, but their usual pinky colour turns into a paler one that makes me look death and has my mother telling every time I should get a tan -mother love, y’know.. 

The search for the perfect day time colour started a few months ago, where I tried some coloured lip balms that were fab and also some lip liners that could easily make my lips look like Kylie Jenner’s -haha, no. But none of them convince me because one, I’m not very keen on glossy finishes, and tow, I’m not Kylie Jenner so there is no way I can pull off her look.

I ended up in Essence’s counter with one of their long lasting lipsticks in my hand, which surprisingly was called Love Me. So what did I do? Of course, love it. A pinky coraly colour, perfect for summer but also for winter, when you want that something in your lips but can’t be bothered to keep an eye on your lipstick.

I must say It’s not uber long lasting, but it does last a good few hours. Also, the formula is really moisturising, so I’m basically using it as a lip balm. If only loving would be that easy..
