What’s In My Bag: Working Edition

BenQ Digital Camera

Inspired by the lovely Beth from Ginger n’ Roses, I decided to throw everything out of my bag and show you the mysteries inside it. But instead of showing you my usual handbag –which is small and not interesting- I thought I showed you my working bag where the juicy stuff is..

THE ESSENTIALS

  • 1 phone
  • 1 set of house keys
  • 1 wallet
  • 1 bottle of wáter
  • Hand cream
  • A shopping bag

THE EMERGENCY POUCH

  • 1 pack of tissues
  • A box of plasters –why so many? Who knows.
  • 2 tampons
  • 2 panty liners
  • 2 Hair clips
  • A hair band
  • Tissues

THE LIPSTICK STASH

  • 1 Liposan Lip butter in macadamia & vanilla
  • 1 Liposan Fruity Shine Strawberry
  • 1 Essence Lipstick in Love Me

I never retouch my make up during the day, so this is the only thing you can find in my bag. In my case, the lip pocket is a bit like the Mary Poppins bag, bottomless. In fact the other day I found a nyx lip liner I thought I lost! Mental.

THE SEASONAL ADDITION

  • 1 Umbrella
  • A pair of sunglasses

Usually I always wear my sunglasses in my bag just in case. The umbrella has been a must since I arrived to the UK.

THE BLOGGING STUFF

  • 1 Notebook
  • 1 Blue pen
  • 1 Black pen
  • 1 Camera
  • 1 Battery charger

TRAVEL, CARDS AND RECEIPS

  • 2 Tesco receipts
  • 1 Lidl receipt
  • 1 Belfast map

TOTALLY USELESS ITEMS

  • 1 Shopping list (outdated)
  • 1 Giffgaff “activate your sim” used card
  • 1 Spanish oyster card
  • The keys to my work in Spain
  • 2 Used tissues
  • A ring

*The bag was perfectly tidy before I started working two weeks ago, you can see that I’m quite a mess. Also, if you want a well lived hefty bag you can follow my motto “throw everything in just in case”, it never disappoints. Just thinking of doing this every month so I have a real reason to take off all the rubbish. I’m sure my sore back will thank me.

I am so glad you liked the post- and I absolutely LOVE your version of it! I have so many plasters in my bag I might as well have just thrown the whole box in haha! I also am a firm believer that keys to something in a different country should be a staple in everyone’s bag. XX
