First week in Belfast completed and I feel good. After all, finally arriving to the house and seeing everything was okay really changed my mood. The house is lovely and big enough for me and my roommates, although I still have to share a room –which I was really hoping I didn’t because I’ve never had my own room. The thing I love the most about the house is the fact there are no blinds, I won’t ever need to use an alarm and I will forever be awake at 6:30..
Anyways, I just thought I’d give you a little update and let you know that from now on until I leave Belfast the weekender will become the Belfast diaries, where I will tell you the random bits about the city. So far, this is what I can tell you: cold, gingers and confusing traffic. The internship is going very well though, I’m enjoying it quite a lot and I’m excited to see how much I learn there.
The apartment is really good but it’s not perfect. On Thursday the fire alarm went on at 4:30 in the morning and did not stop until 7:30. I swear I was going mental with all the bip-bip –can you imagine? The bed I’m sleeping in is the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever tried, the springs stick in my body like knifes. And let’s not even get started with the fact that this people don’t know what blinds are.. The weather has been quite nice but absolutely freezing! All in all, I’m happy in Belfast.
Prepare yourselves for a Belfast overload every weekend ’cause the Belfast Diaries are coming to stay..
the house looks really cool, can’t wait to hear more!
That’s actually not my house (our house is way too more modest..), I wish! It’s a school that kinda looks like hogwarts haha
